Title: From the Inferno
Series: Firemen Do It Better Author: Leah Sharelle
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Chase Brennan’s life came crashing down on the fateful night his daughter was brutally taken from him.
After following the wrong road for some time, the qualified firefighter, who had never given up that ‘the one’ was just around the corner and would one day find him, returned to the living.
What he didn’t know was how she would appear in his life and just how fast and hard he would fall.
Jamie Lawrence was the darling of the Australian tennis circuit.
For years, she did as she was told, smiled when she had to, and played to win so her parents and coach could live the lifestyle they wanted.
They didn’t care what she wanted or that she was unhappy playing the game she once loved. After a scary altercation that left her running for her life, Jamie hid her celebrity status and landed in a town where her happily ever after was waiting for her.
Would her well-meant game of secrecy, pretending to be someone she wasn’t, lose her the man who made her heart beat faster with just one touch?
Could their love survive the inferno and be ‘game, set, match’ in love?

Review by Barbara
This series just keeps getting Hotter and Hotter (Pun Intended). Ms Sharelle once again has written another Hunky Fireman story that knocked my socks off. Her writing style is one of my favorites. She kept me entertained with humorous moments, intrigued with suspense and all gooey inside with the romantic parts. Plus being book 3 of the series and not only did I get Chase and Jamie's story I got to reconnect with all the guys and their women from the Station.
I knew from the other books that Chase’s story was going to be special. He is the widow of the trio having lost his wife and daughter several years ago. He is content with his life, enjoys the solitude of his ranch. That is up until meets Jamie at the bakery across from the station. The moment they meet sparks fly and Chase is totally infatuated. He wants to get to know her but he can tell from the times their eyes meet and she spoke that she is hiding something. But to what extent.
Jamie is a well known tennis player who has lost her passion for the sport and is simply a pawn and paycheck to her parents and coach. She is brow-beaten and abused. But after one extremely bad encounter with her coach, Jamie ups and runs. Changing her name and hair color in hopes of not being recognized, she ends up in a small town that seems to embrace her at every turn. Hoping she has finally found a place she can settle she takes a job at the local bakery and meets the most wonderful people.
This a funny, romantic, suspense storyline that kept me smiling, laughing with several moments of OMG running through my head. I highly recommend grabbing up Into the Inferno and as well as the first two books in the Fireman Do it Better series. You won’t be sorry you did. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars for an outstanding read.

Meet the Author
I love the idea of being in love. Since my early teens when I first discovered Silhouette Desire novels my life has been all about reading. I would find myself re-writing scenes if I wasn't happy with them and hiding them under my bed. That led me to writing love stories of my own. They all ended up under the bed and are still there, and there they will stay. I don't do angst, in fact it drives me crazy.
I am a mum of three beautiful girls, Australian, and have what most say is a weird sense of humor.
I spend my free time doing movie, Sons of Anarchy, and Friends marathons. And reading.
I love Pina Colada's and getting caught in the rain..... there's that weird humor.
