I’m cast away on a tropical island with a dirty, damaged alpha-hole.
Women swoon over him.
I’m not one of them.
I hate him.
And I see right through those indigo-blue eyes.
Brash is hurting.
But that doesn’t give him the right to be a douchebag.
Especially now that I’m all he’s got here.
A mafia princess who knows how to set someone straight.
I will bring him to his knees.
If only he’d stop making me weak in mine.
His strong arms have become my refuge.
And his gorgeous smile, my hope.
He tells me that I belong to him.
That he’ll protect me in this dangerous place.
But what happens if my heart is at risk?
Who will save me then?

Review by Barbara

When I picked up Brash I wasn't sure what to expect, having never read this author before. I am happy that I took the chance. I read some of the reviews for other books by this author and I honestly thought there would be more of a Mafia twist to it, however was a breath of fresh air to me. Two people who in normal circumstances should and do despise each other. But when events take a turn for the worse and they have no one else to rely on but each other the story became quite enchanting. The author gave me a wonderful romance to get lost in and forget my everyday problems. The banter between the two main characters keep me smiling, the suspense kept me turning the pages and watching a young woman grow into her own at the hands of a man who is broken in his own right, was simply stunning. I highly recommend Brash and offer it 2 thumbs up and 5 stars.

Review by Kathy

Fast enemies to lovers read that will capture you right from the beginning. Brash is handsome, rich and has women dropping at his feet, all women except for the headstrong mafia princess Aly. She is smart, talented and beautiful and the daughter of one of his business partners. They meet at her brother's wedding and he immediately gets under her skin, and not in a good way. Patronizing to say the least, he is surprised to see that she genuinely does have talent when viewing her work during a showing at a gallery. A job is offered, just what she needs to help her get her name and her work out there. The location is breathtaking and if it were with anyone other than Brash, she may find it quite romantic. Although, the do have a wonderful time together, until her being a temptation is a bit too much for him to handle and his brashness comes out. But when something evil this way comes and their plane goes down in the ocean, Brash and Aly must put aside their hostility in order to survive.

This is a great story with wonderful characters. Aly's strength really comes out in the "second part" of this story when the threat she has to stand against is her own father.

Wonderfully written story with plenty of heat, excitement and even a bit of intrigue. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I am sure you will to. I highly recommend this book.
