Flirting With The Frenemy - Release Blitz with Giveaway

Title: Flirting with the Frenemy
Author: Pippa Grant
Genre: Sexy Romantic Comedy
 Release Date: March 1, 2019

Blurb

Mission: Survive my best friend's wedding, where I must play nice with my ex and his perfect new girlfriend.
Strategy: Bring the hottest fake boyfriend on the planet.
Target: Grady Rock. Master Baker. Dimples. Muscles. The unicorn of fake boyfriends.
Complication: Wyatt Morgan. My brother's best friend. My sworn enemy. Military man. Sexy as hell single dad. The man I let into my panties for one night of hot hate sex after my ex dumped me before my life fell apart.
And the man who just scared off that perfect fake boyfriend.
By pretending to be my real boyfriend.
I can roll with this though. What’s the harm in Flirting with the Frenemy if it helps me get the job done?
Complete my mission and move on.
Or so I thought.
Until Wyatt kisses me again and I start feeling things I shouldn't.
The thing about weddings...nothing ever goes as planned.

Flirting with the Frenemy is a rollicking fun romantic comedy featuring a single dad military man, an irritatingly attractive blast from his past, pirates, cursing parrots, and a wedding gone wild. It stands alone with no cheating or cliffhangers.

Review by Kathy

An absolute joy to read and one book that will keep you reading well past your bedtime to see what will happen next with these two. A romcom that will definitely keep a smile on your face the entire way through and even have you laughing along with the characters at some of the scenes. The banter between Ellie and Wyatt begins right at the beginning of the book and does not end, just softens up a bit at the end. But then, their banter began when they were kids and Ellie would tag along with her brother and his friends. They are grown now and Wyatt has a seven year old son from a doomed marriage (yep, get ready for some kid cuteness and outbursts). When these two meet again, it's at Ellie's parents house. She's been dumped (on Christmas Eve no less) and Wyatt has just received his divorce papers. He's not at her brother's, his best friends, house because there is a party going on there and he is no mood for a party. Neither is Ellie for that matter, but as the banter flies, soon enough so go the clothes and before anyone knows it, the deed is done and just three little words are enough to send Ellie running out of the house and to her car, crying and speeding away. Then tragedy happens, triggering something in Ellie's mind as the week of her best friend's wedding not only brings her fact to face with her ex and his new girlfriend, but also with Wyatt Morgan and his little boy....in her brother's home!!! Now things really get interesting and the banter and fun really begins to pick up speed as does the attraction and sexual tension between the two. But when strange events happen after the two become a little intimate, Elle's mind is set that they are cursed and shouldn't even touch each other. She is convinced that the universe is out to get them. Yea, go ahead and roll your eyes because you will do that alot with Ellie when she begins talking like that.

This story is incredibly well written with a storyline that could come straight out of someone's real life (well for the most part lol). It's the characters that bring this story to life and laughter as they are brilliantly written and so very well developed, right down to little Tucker. The supporting characters are equally well written and a few are insanely funny. I mean come on, how could they not be when the best friend's wedding theme is pirates, complete with ...well let me not spoil the fun here.

I absolutely adored this book and can hardly wait to see what happens after this books leaves us with a mini cliffie, and a glimpse into the next book which is Beck's story (Ellie's brother). I highly recommend this book and look forward to recommending the series.
