One look.

Just like that.

That’s all it takes for me to know I wanted Ava for more than one night. She takes a single look at me and only sees a player.

The young, single mom doesn’t give her trust easily. Convincing her I want more than a one night stand is the best thing I’ve ever done until it all crashes down around me.

As I’m framed for crimes I didn’t commit, I fight to prove my innocence and battle to convince Ava and her daughter to stay.

When the stakes rise, will I be able to prove my vow of devotion?

Review by Kathy

I loved this book. Beautiful single mom, on her own supporting herself and her young daughter. New town, new job; where will their life take them now? Handsome playboy who wants more out of life than just the one night stand. He wants to settle down and wants his father to be proud of him as well. He's venturing out on his own with his own project. What does his life have in store for him? Meet Hudson and Ava (and little Lilly). When these two meet, the attraction is instant, but she is weary, he is certain. She is exactly what he wants and he will do whatever it takes to have Ava and her beautiful daughter as his own. He wants his own family, like his brothers. She isn't sure about Hudson, other than that he is surely a playboy, although he does have a way with the children that he brings around with him. Can she take a chance and let him enter into her and her daughter's lives? Hudson manages to prove himself to her and she does let him in. But there is trouble on the horizon and when it hits, Hudson finds himself wondering if this will end his and Ava's relationship.

These characters were wonderfully written and thoroughly developed. I loved Hudson, Ava and Lilly...especially Lilly. The supporting characters were quite entertaining, except for one particular character. These characters made you wish you actually knew them and were a part of their lives.

I loved this book and I highly recommend it.

Author Bio

Emma loves to write, just don't ask her to write about herself. If she isn't writing, you can find her lost in a book or trying to get her doggo to take a selfie with her. He usually refuses. At the end of the day, you can find Emma at the closest Mexican restaurant eating queso and sipping on a margarita. She lives in Texas with her husband and dog.
