Title: Talkin' Trash
Series: Bear Bottom Guardians MC Book 2
Author: Lani Lynn Vale
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: October 5, 2018
Cover Design: Cover Me Darling, LLC

Synopsis

Linc has two very important things on his mind—professional football and his motorcycle club.
What he does not have on his mind is the woman that drives him crazy and makes him want to do stupid things, like throw caution to the wind.
Nope, not Linc.
At least, that’s the lie he tells everyone.
In reality, every time Conleigh’s name is mentioned, he squirms.
She’s everything that he wants, wrapped up in a cute little package that is stamped ‘hands freakin’ off.’
She’s four years younger than him, in school to be a doctor, and thinks football is stupid.
Even more, Linc and Conleigh get along like oil and water.
There’s not a single second that they’re in each other’s presence that they’re not at each other’s throats.
But all it takes is hearing that she’s in trouble for Linc to drop every single thing—football and MC duties alike—and head to her side.
A side that he’ll remain at until they either kill each other, or finally give into the heat between them.
Either way you look at it, he’s well and truly screwed.

I love a good MC story with a romantic side and Talkin Trash has it in spade. The author has written a wonderful storyline with strong main and sub characters, that feel more like family than just people in a book. The storyline is full of love, suspense and laughter and the Bear Bottom MC guys will worm their way into your heart and leave you anxiously waiting for more of their stories; which are hopefully coming our way.

This is Linc and Conleigh's story. Conleigh grew up poor with just her mother to care for her and her little brother. But their status changed when her mother married Steel Cross, the president of the Alabama Dixie Wardens MC. In fact it was at the first party she attended at the Dixie Warden's clubhouse that 16 year old Conleigh met Linc. He was older, tattooed and gorgeous and Conleigh lost her heart that day, as did Linc. But Linc was told to stay away from her by both Steel and his own father, men you just don't cross. So Linc stayed her "friend" biding his time before he claimed her at his. Linc's friend-zoning her was something that broke Conleigh's heart.

Years later, Linc is a pro football QB and a member of the Bear Bottom MC and Conleigh is finishing nursing school. Even though they have remained semi-friends, Conleigh still secretly loves Linc but feels the pain of their breakup. As for Linc, he's decided now is the time. He's coming after what is his: Conleigh. He's decided their father's be damned. Now he just has to convince Conleigh he's serious and not the playboy social media had made him out to be. Things are just starting to go Linc's way when trouble hits the MC. Someone is out to mess with the Bear Bottom MC and ruin Linc's chances with Conleigh. Who is doing this? Does it work? Do the other Clubs connected to the Bear Bottom MC finally step up to help them or are these men on their own?

This is an exciting, suspenseful storyline that will keep you turning page after page. I highly recommend Talkin Trash as well as book 1 of the series, Mess Me Up. 5 Star and a Huge Kudos to the author for a job well done.

Review by Kathy

They had been in love with each other since she was sixteen but both their fathers warned him to keep away from her. But he knew at some point, the time would be right and she would be his. That time is now. She is now a nurse, working towards becoming a nurse practitioner,,e's a big name football quarterback and also a member of the Bear Bottom MC. He thinks she hates him, she lets him think that. He has his work cut out for him in getting the love of his life to take a chance and go out with him. When these two finally get together, its an inferno of passion.

Things are going really well for the couple, until trouble for the club takes a swing at them and tries to tear them apart, as well as taking hits at a few of the club members. This man from another club is up to something. He's threatening all other clubs to stand down and not support Linc's club, but the reason is still unknown. There are sideline players in the mix that may or may not be able to help with this, but for now it's a wait and see, investigate and get as much information that they can and let this man think that they are doing what he wants. So many puzzle pieces missing, but the main story is Lincoln James and Conleigh's.

This is a very well written story with incredible characters that will draw you in and keep you attracted to them. So many supporting characters that you just know they will have their own story at some point and can't wait to read them. Linc and Conleigh's story is filled with love, angst, humor and even a bit of romance. They love hard! They make mistakes. And everything they do is put out on social media for the whole world to see. What started out as a way to get one of the doctors to lose interest in Conleigh turns into a media nightmare. Thanks to one of her nurse friends, Conleigh is now pregnant with Linc's love child. But the media isn't their only problem, it's their fathers! As they play the part of being engaged with a baby on the way (his publicist's idea), their relationship grows into something very real, at last.

I loved this story and I highly recommend this book and this series.
