WOW! That’s the first thing that springs to mind when I finish The Elder. Ms. Aaron has writing an amazing storyline that is full of suspense and action with some well placed laughs and tenderness thrown in. The author has expertly added twist and turns that will keep you on the edge as well as turning the pages as fast as you can read in an attempt to get answers. The problem is, the more answers our main characters get, more questions seem to arise.
The Elder is a great whodunit! When Randall King is found murdered, his children and the local police set out to solve the case. But they soon find that nothing is what it seems. The author will take you on one wild, hair raising trip as Arabella, the town’s leading detective, and Benton, the Eldest of the King siblings, set out to catch a killer. She will also take you on a heartwarming journey as we delve into the characters personalities as well as their private lives, including one charming 4 year old name Vivi (short for Vivienne). She will most definitely steal your heart and make you smile.
2 Thumbs Up for a wonderful book that is a great read from start to finish. I can’t recommend The Elder enough and I for one am looking forward to more to come from the Kings of Mississippi series.
