Release Blitz and Giveaway - Stud in the Stacks with Reviews

Title: Stud in the Stacks
Author: Pippa Grant
Genre: Sexy Romantic Comedy
Release Date: January 5, 2018

When it comes to women, I know what they want. And all day long, I give it to them. Dark, broody, and sexy? You got it. Need to laugh? I’m your guy. Desperate for something to put you in the mood? You’ve come to the right place, kitten.

Every morning when my library opens, there’s a line around the block, the ladies flocking to me in need of their next book boyfriend. I’m that dude. The one who knows his way around the romance section. And if you think that hasn’t gotten me plenty of action over the years, you’d be wrong.

But I've made a few miscalculations, and now my reputation has my job in danger. If I can’t prove to my boss that I’m more than a playboy who recommends romance in the hopes of getting some hanky panky in the stacks, I can kiss my job goodbye.

Stud in the Stacks is a sexy, hilarious, sometimes embarrassing romantic comedy told in both points of view, complete with tacos, romance novel love, and unicorn parties with no cheating or cliffhangers.

Review by Kathy

I thoroughly enjoyed this delightfully quirky, funny and hot as taco sauce RomCom. The storyline is brilliant, having a female lead who has a successful job and is confident in her job, but not so much her personal life. She has one job to do right now and that is getting the man she married when she was really really young (and had the marriage annulled), to bring his organic hops to the company she works for. She need a hot date for her high school reunion to show all of the bullies that she grew up and out-grew her geeky self, and is successful and is engaged to the hottie that will be on her arm. But first she has to win him at the bachelor auction. Parker Elliott is beautiful, smart, funny, talented and has no self esteem when it comes to anything other than her work, and playing guitar in her all girl band, along with her friends.

Mr. Romance, Tarzan, aka Knox is not only a librarian but is also a reader and blogger of romance books. He is nothing like any librarian you have ever seen because he is tall, built, confident and handsome and charming. He is sex on a stick and Parker bids on him to get him to be her fake fiance for her reunion. But she loses the bid and in one last ditch effort to get him to do this for her she opens her mouth and blurts out what she wants, right in front of the woman who won him in the auction. Handing him her program with her phone number in it she tells him to call her Ms. P. And from there, we let the fun begin. These two try to hook up but are blocked at almost every turn them make and those blocks are nothing but laugh out loud unbelievable.

I loved these two, both not wanting a relationship, marriage or anything. She works too much, he loves to read romance books, she's never read a romance book much less any other type of book. Opposites that are perfectly matched and will have you giggling and sighing. I dare you not to love these two. He helps to fix her, she helps to make him better and together they find that there is more to life than what they thought.

Absolutely charming book and I highly recommend this book.

What a Delightful and Hilarious RomCom! Stud in the Stacks will have you smiling and down right laughing at loud as Parker, Parker Elliot spreads her wings. The author has done an amazing job with this book. From the crazy storyline to the oh so funny characters in it.

Needless to say the book is about one Miss Parker Elliot. Parker was a nerdy kid and picked on high school which left her a lot of scars. Fast forward to now, years later, she has a great VP job that she loves and plays in a band with her girlfriends, which she also loves. Yet she still lacks self confidence and has no self approval and boy does it show. From her possessed phone (that changes all her text to the most outrageous things), to her complete lack of a filter (at the worst possible times) and even to her love life (or lack thereof), Parker needs a serious Boost on life and how to stand up for herself.

So when her boss her she has to go to her school reunion and convince her ex to work with their company, she is not only helpless to say no, she starts a scheme and plot a way to make it happen. Little does she know if she is going to pull it off she is going to need Tarzan - gyrating in a loincloth, a hunky Librarian, a fake fiancĂ©, kung-fu moves and 4-meddling brothers. Yep, life around Parker Parker Elliot is anything but boring. As for our Hunky Librarian, Knox, he has the world by the tail. He’s single, loves to read romance novels (Do Not Judge him to quickly for that), writes a romance blog about the books he reads and has all the women eating out of his hand. Should be enough right? (Guess you’ll have to read the book to find out).

I tip my hat to Ms Grant for a job well done with Stud in the Stacks. It’s very well written and Parker, Knox and all the supporting cast had me laughing and smiling throughout. If you enjoy funny, sexy romance books this is a must read. I can all but guarantee, Mr. Romance would include it on his Book Blog, if he ever gets the chance to read it. 2 Thumbs Up and I do hope this turns into a series and we hear a lot more from Parker, the girls in the band and even their crazy oversized brothers! Yes, I sure do hope more books are in the works for us!

Even though it’s been six years since I stripped for a roomful of women, I’m pleased to report my loincloth still fits in all the right places. Tad more snug in front than I remember, but if I had to grow, might as well be in the junk.
I give the elastic one last test as the producer signals that I’m up. Spider-Man gives me a fist bump. Thor smacks my ass. They’re the last two bachelors going up on the block after me in tonight’s superhero-themed auction.
There are some who might say Tarzan isn’t a superhero, but Jane would beg to differ.
And I fucking own this costume.
Plus, if no one else bids on me, my Nana’s right up front, ready to throw down the hundred bucks I slipped her before the show.
I’m hoping for a little higher than that though. Batman just went for a cool five grand.
Batman was a dick, which I assume my Nana didn’t know when she started the bidding on him. A grade-A, condescending asshat who thought just because he had a few million bucks in the bank, he could call people gay like that’s an insult and take a metaphorical shit on my favorite books.
I fucking want to beat Batman.
