If Love was Fair - Giveaway & Review

Title: If Love Was Fair
Author: Savannah Stewart
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: December 12, 2017

Blurb

Life wasn’t fair…and I’d learned that on far too many occasions.

Arbor Kenton had one goal, to flee the toxicity of her hometown. She’d thrown a dart at a map and decided wherever it landed she would move without hesitation.

One night was all she had left before she’d hit the road and never look back. But little did she know just how life altering that night would be.

I know I can’t ask you to stay, and you wouldn’t ask me to leave.

Colin Banks was an aspiring musician traveling from town to town looking for his big break.

One night in a new town would end up shaking the once firm foundation of his dreams. What he didn’t foresee is what that night would end up meaning to him.

If love was fair, so much would be different.

Review by Kathy

Such a beautifully written story about second chance at love..and happiness. This story begins with a heartbreaking event that you will find out about later in the book, but you get the idea that this moment will be life changing for Arbor. Her plans are to leave behind her hometown, but before she does she goes to a bar and listens to the handsome man playing guitar and singing. She's dumbstruck as his eyes latch onto hers. Their meeting later is the moment that catapults her life into barrage of emotions, especially after their one night stand.

The characters are wonderfully written and quite well defined. I love the relationship between Emily (roommate and best-friend) and Arbor. They are so good for each other. There are quite a few characters in this book that will have you taking interest, and playing with your emotions. Everett, the handsome promoter that Arbor takes interest in early on, Lilly her uppity cousin, Samantha...the evil troll from her high school days who hasn't changed a bit, and Collin, the man who was her past and never left her heart. Collin, the handsome musician who left such an imprint on her mind and her heart that he remained inside of her for the years she was away until she returned home for her cousin's wedding.

I loved this story and could not wait to see how things would turn out. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves wonderful romance stories.
