Review by Kathy

If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would. It is absolutely amazing. It will grab you, turn you inside out, gut you and have you swooning. It will also give you all of the answers you were asking from reading the first book, The Gift. The story line is extremely intriguing and addictive as you will not put it down until you finish. There is no stop and go action in this book, it is full throttle all the way through to the wonderful end.

The characters are well written and extremely complex as Jude is still trying to protect Alexa, but she has, once again, been kidnapped...you might even say she was double kidnapped, considering the first kidnappers loose her to the second kidnappers! Again someone wants to use her, but they do not treat her nearly as well as Jude has, AND they have someone she's close to. Things are looking really bleak for Alexa and she is having thoughts that maybe death would be a good thing.

I do not want to go into any more detail than this regarding this story, you just need to read it for yourself. I swear you will love these books as much as I have and I HIGHLY recommend them!!

Author Bio

NEW YORK TIMES BEST SELLER OF UGLY AND MISTRUST

**Write something worth reading**

I'm Margaret and I'm a self-published author.
Recently I was fortunate in obtaining New York Times best selling status on my YA/NA book - Ugly, and my YA book - Mistrust.

My last three books have been YA and I'm completely in love with the genre. I love being able to communicate with people through my words and stories.

My writing genres all differ, but the one thing I keep consistent is my heroines. All my female lead characters are strong, gutsy and not the 'perfect' woman. While my books all have romantic elements in them, they aren't just about the romance. They're about finding strength, acceptance and making lifelong connections.

I hope you enjoy my stories as much as I have while writing them.
