Review by Kathy
The characters were well written and well developed. The family dynamic in this story was was loving and supportive as they considered all of those that were close to them, including in their practice as family. And that included Ashton, who's own background was one of loneliness and without love. They took him into their fold and helped turn him into the man he was becoming. But it's Gabriella who made the most impact on his life and gave him more than he ever imagined possible, considering their extremely rocky beginning. But then Gabriella had issues of her own, considering her past relationship that left her broken and unable to trust any man, and Ashton in turn helped her with that. I loved the premise of this story, loved the characters and loved everything that took place in all of their lives. I read this story a bet pensively as I kept waiting for something really bad to happen as often as Gabriella was sick, tired or became dizzy and unsteady and kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and plunge me into an ugly cry. Great job to the author on this part! I also loved how things seemed to come full circle in regards to the family's announcements. If I had to find something that I didn't like about this book, it would probably only be all of the names beginning with "A", but even that was quickly thrown out the window by the middle of the first chapter. So, I really have nothing bad to say after all. This was a wonderful read and I highly recommend this book.
