Baby - #3 in Laundromat Chronicles

The 3rd Book in the Laundromat Chronicles Series is LIVE!

Hap and Lena are young, in love, and preparing for a baby. Without the help of their family, they try to do what most adults can't do, make their family work.

When they meet Miss Ruby they learn that family isn't always blood and strangers can be so much more.

Review by Barbara

When I first saw this idea of Ms. Merriam’s series (having 6 novella’s to introduce the main characters of her upcoming book), I thought it was quite unique. May I just say that having now read Baby, the 3rd novella, that these are so much more than just unique! This has just been fascinating learning about how these characters have all come to be at the point in their lives to be gathering at the laundromat on Saturday nights. It’s truly quite a remarkable tale - so far!

In Baby, we learn about the teenage couple who are expecting a baby soon. They don’t seem to have much but they appear happy. There story is one of love, heartache and happiness all rolled into one! I can’t even begin to tell you how wonderfully written these first three novellas are. They are truly worth reading and this reader is looking forward to the remaining 3 novellas and the full lengthy book called “Life” that will be here in November just to see how their lives turn out.

Kudos Ms. Merriam for a truly awesome idea and a wonderful storyline. I tip my hat to you and if the remaining books to come are anything like the first 3, I HIGHLY recommend them!!

Angie Merriam resides in the beautiful Pacific NorthWest and is happily married to her best friend. She and her husband have three wonderful children and two crazy cats.

When she's not writing she loves barbeque's with family and friends, photography, movies, music, and of course reading. She was influenced by the works of Diana Gabaldon, Stephanie Meyer, Nora Roberts and Danielle Steele.
